PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of Petitioner appeal in Na.Ka.No.30/2025/A4 filed for cancellation of patta in respect of Survey No.309/9A1, Perungudi Village, Thiruparankundram Taluk, Madurai District, within a time to be stipulated by this court. 1/4

ORDER

After filing an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer for cancellation of the patta issued to the 4th respondent, the petitioner seeks early disposal of such appeal.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3. He submits that the Revenue Divisional Officer would issue a speaking order within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the pattadhar.

3. In view of the above submissions of learned Special Government Pleader, it is not necessary to issue notice to the 4th respondent in this wirt petition. Instead, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the 4th respondent herein.
