PRAYER :- Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing to the respondents to refer the petitioner to the Medical Board of any government hospital to ascertain his physical fitness to work as driver or the respondents to allow the petitioner to work as light duty in Thirumangalam Branch or any other alternative light work on the base of the petitioner representation dated 29.08.2025.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to refer the petitioner to the Medical Board of any government hospital to ascertain his physical fitness to work as driver or the respondents to allow the petitioner to work as light duty in Thirumangalam Branch or any other alternative light work on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 29.08.2025. 2/4

2. Heard the submission of both sides counsel and perused the materials available on record.

3. Eventhough the petitioner has sought for a positive direction seeking to refer the petitioner to the Medical Board of any Government hospital to ascertain his physical fitness to work as driver, by considering his representation dated 29.08.2025, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.08.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
