PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.5919/2024/D5(Ni.G1) dated 17.07.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to cancel the patta granted in favour of the 7th respondent on the basis of the fraudulent Sale deed date 11.05.2005 relating to an survey No. 3065/1B2 extent of 1 Acre 54 cents in Konkuvarpatti Bit-2 Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District and restore the same as before it. ORDER

An order of the District Revenue Officer dated 17.07.2025 is challenged in this writ petition. The petitioner had filed O.S.No.193 of 2014 seeking inter alia declaration and recovery of possession. The said suit was dismissed by judgment and decree dated 28.11.2017. The said judgment and decree was referred to in the impugned order.

2. After obtaining instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be taking further steps to challenge the said judgment 2/4

and decree. He seeks leave to reapply for relief before the revenue authorities subject to the petitioner succeeding in civil proceedings. By granting such leave, this writ petition is disposed of without any order as to costs.
