ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.) The petitioner is R5 in W.P.(MD)No.26669 of 2025, which was closed on 24.09.2025 by way of following order: "Prayer is for a mandamus, directing the official respondents 1 to 4, to remove the cement shed built by R5 on government land in S.No.483, Pungamarathupatti, Salukkuvarpatti, Aruppukkottai taluk, Virudhunagar District ('land in question').
2. On an advance copy of the writ petition having been received, written instructions dated 24.09.2025 have been obtained in Na.Ka.No.A2/6603/2025. The authorities state that the survey was conducted on 06.09.2025 and it has been ascertained that there is an encroachment by way of an enclosed shed caused by R5 in the land in question. They state that necessary action is being taken on the same, in accordance with law, and within a period of 12 weeks from today. As the petitioner is satisfied with this order, this writ petition is closed. No costs."
2.Mr.M.Thirunavukkarasu, learned counsel appearing for the review petitioner states that the petitioner apprehends that he will be treated as an encroacher on the strength of the observations in order dated 24.09.2025.
3.He need not so apprehend as we have made very clear that action to be taken by the official respondents must be in accordance with 2/4
law. This brings within its ambit adherence to the principles of natural justice and strict adherence to the principle of law as well. 4.Mr.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents, would assure the Court as well as the petitioner that no action would be taken except in accordance with law and due process. 5.Recording the same, this Revision Application is closed.
