Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 & 2 to secure and produce the body or person of the detenu S.Sharifa Banu, D/o Saleem Basha, aged below 18 years and produce her before this Court and hand over the custody of the detenu to the petitioner.

The matter had actually been listed for hearing on 28.10.2025, But however, a mention was made that the young child of the petitioner, who was born on 29.10.2007 and was missing on and from 10.10.2025, had returned back to home on her own volition.

2. But however, in the affidavit there is mention being made of another individual and consequently the second respondent had registered FIR in Crime No.546 of 2025 on 11.10.2025 under the caption "girl missing".Necessary investigation will have to be done as to where the child of the petitioner had gone during the past two weeks. Medical examination will have to be done, which is required since FIR was registered. The parents of the detenue are present before this Court today. After completion of medical examination and other formalities, the detenue may be handed over to the parents.

3. This Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
