The petitioner assails an order of the Revenue Divisional Officer restoring the revenue records to the status at the inception of the UDR scheme.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the impugned order was issued without taking note of the civil suit filed by the petitioner in O.S.No.14 of 2025. When it was pointed out to the learned counsel that a statutory remedy by way of revision is available, learned counsel submits that he may be permitted to avail of such statutory remedy.

3. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the first respondent.

4. In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner, it is unnecessary to examine the impugned order on merits. Instead, this Writ Petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to file a revision 2/4

before the District Revenue Officer. If such revision is filed within fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the District Revenue Officer shall receive and dispose of the same on merits, without going into the question of limitation and after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and any other persons who would be affected by such order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
