ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to grant free electricity service connection for agriculture purpose to the petitioner's deep well situates in S.No.42/12A, Raghunathapuram Village, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, based on his representation dated 30.09.2011. 2.Heard both sides.

3.The petitioner made representations right from 31.12.1990 seeking to grant free electricity service connection for agriculture purpose to his deep well situates in S.No.42/12A, Raghunathapuram Village, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District and the last one is dated 30.09.2011.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 30.09.2011, is disposed of by the respondent as per law. 5.The learned counsel for the respondent, on the other hand, would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be disposed of, if not disposed of earlier.

merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.09.2011, and pass appropriate orders, if not disposed of earlier, on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
