O R D E R

This petition is filed for quash of the impugned proceedings in C.C.No.171 of 2022, on the file of the Additional District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Vedasandur.

2. During the course of arguments, when this Court expressed that the points raised by the learned counsel for the petitioners are factual in nature, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought permission to withdraw this petition. He would submit that the fourth petitioner is about to join a Government Job and that the pendency of the case would affect his career prospects and sought for a direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible.

3.This Court is of the opinion that there cannot be any direction to fix a time frame for completion of trial, as repeatedly held by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

4.However, considering the request made by the learned Counsel for the petitioners, the nature of allegations and since the case is posted for examination of witnesses on 03.11.2025, the learned Additional District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Vedasandur may expeditiously dispose of the case.

5.With the above observation and direction, this criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
