Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to pass orders on the application preferred by the petitioner dated Nil seeking to issue Patta to the petitioner for the lands comprised in Survey No.1180/2 to an extent of 5-1/2 cents, Vetrilai Oorani Village, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar District, in the light of the proceedings of the third respondent dated 27.09.2010 in Patta by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 18.07.2011 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2011, in the light of the proceedings of the third respondent, dated 27.09.2010.

2. Heard Mr.Karthick Raja, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is given to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.05.2011 and 18.07.2011.

4. In the light of the above submission and the prayer sought for by the writ petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.07.2011 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
