ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to appoint the Petitioner as Makkal Nala Paniyalar in the Singampunari Panchayat Union in Sivagangai District.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent informed this Court that the post of Makkal Nala Paniyalar it self was abolished and no such post exists. Thus, the relief as such sought for in this writ petition for appointment to the said post cannot be considered.

3.Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no orders as to costs. Consequently, MP(MD)No.1 of 2011 is closed.
