ORDER

The petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to issue No Objection Certificate to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2025.

2. The gist of the the representation made by the petitioner is that he is seeking employment in a private Bank and the bank is insisting on a No Objection Certificate from the Jurisdictional Police Station.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instruction, would submit that there is a case pending against the petitioner in Crime No.4 of 2025 on the file of the CCB, Madurai and final report has been filed before the Jurisdictional Magistrate. Therefore, the respondent cannot be issued a No Objection Certificate as prayed for. 2/4

4. This Court cannot issue any direction to the respondent police to issue a No Objection Certificate and the respondent police can only issue a certificate disclosing the case pending against the petitioner. Hence, representation made by the petitioner is misconceived. Accordingly, this Writ petition is dismissed. No Costs.
