O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to take direct management of the Wakf, namely, Mohaideen Andavar Pallivasal at G.Thummalapatti, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District (G.S.No.247/MDU), by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the Mohaideen Andavar Pallivasal at G.Thummalapatti, Nilakkottai Taluk, has sufficient members to administer the Pallivasal and its properties. However, for the past several years, i.e., from 2017 onwards, neither elections have been conducted nor has any Committee been appointed for its proper administration. Consequently, the administration of the Pallivasal has allegedly been taken over by certain unauthorized persons, which has resulted in deterioration in the administration of the Pallivasal and its properties. Due to the alleged illegal activities in the Wakf, disputes have arisen among the members and complaints were lodged before the 2/5

respondent Board as well as the Police authorities and no election has been conducted so far. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondent Board on 16.09.2025 requesting the Board to take direct management of the said Wakf. Since the same has not been considered till date, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3 would submit that once the Wakf Board is constituted, the representation of the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed.

4. In view of the above submission, respondent Nos.1 and 2 are directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025, if the Wakf Board has already been constituted, or immediately upon its constitution, and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
