ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the second respondent to forthwith issue non-traceable certificate in respect of the missing document viz., original sale deed in Document No.780/1975 dated 20.02.1975 on the file of Coimbatore Sub Registrar Office based on the petitioner's complaint dated 20.09.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representation would be considered in terms of the Circular of the Director General of Police in Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022 within a period of four weeks.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner's presence is required, the respondents may issue summons for appearance and complete the enquiry within the stipulated time.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
