PRAYER:

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2011 to re fix the name board of Valavanthan Nadar Street, which is a branch or sub lane of PT Rajan Road, Goripalayam, Madurai-2.

ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2011 to re-fix the name board of Valavanthan Nadar Street, which is a branch or sub lane of PT Rajan Road, Goripalayam, Madurai-2.

2.Heard, Mr.V.Venkatesaperumal learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Jothi Basu, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation. 4.The learned Standing counsel for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.06.2011 would be considered in accordance with law.

5. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this Writ Petition and considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2011 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

receipt of copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
