COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writs of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant Provisional Affiliation Certificate to Sita Rajaram Polytechnic College, Muthu Nagar, Hiraniyamangalam, Mettupatti, Kulitalai Taluk, Karur District - 639 107 and Maria Polytechnic College, Chanivilai, Kumarankudi, Chenkody Post, Kanyakumari District respectively without insisting upon production of Section 37-B Certificate as a Pre-condition for conducting diploma courses in Automobile, Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics & Communications and Mechanical Engineering for the Academic year 2011-2012.
