PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 26.09.2011.

ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 26.09.2011.

2.Heard Mr.R.Ramadurai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.09.2011.

4.The learned Government Advocate would submit that the representation was given in the year 2011. If a fresh representation is given by the petitioner, the respondent would consider the same.

In light of the above submissions, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the respondent enclosing a copy of this order within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such compliance, the respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunities to all necessary parties within a period of twelve weeks therefrom. 6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
