This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the first respondent to survey the lands in S.Nos.221/1A, 222/1B and 222/1 D in Palayamkottai Village, Athoor, Dindigul District. The petitioner also sought for a direction to the second respondent to give police protection for the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that due to passage of so many years, the petitioner shall be directed to submit a fresh representation and thereafter, the authorities shall consider the same.

Under such circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to file a fresh representation to the first respondent along with documentary evidence, if any within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such filing, the first respondent is directed to consider the same on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
