By relying on a sale deed dated 20.04.2016 and the extract from the Town Survey Land Register, the petitioner had applied for a survey of the land in T.S.No.2/3 of an extent of 1.95 cents.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the survey has not been conducted although the application was submitted on 05.03.2024.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. He submits that the survey would be carried out within eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to carry out the survey and complete the process within eight

(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing 2/4

notice to the owners of relevant adjacent lands and considering objections, if any, from them. No costs.
