The petitioner asserts that the property in survey No.810/2 stood in the name of his father, Abdul Hameed, and that such patta was wrongly mutated in the name of his sister-in-law, the third respondent herein. After submitting a representation to the Tahsildar in this regard, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. He submits that an inquiry is ongoing and that orders would be issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer within two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the pattadar.
3. In view of the above submissions of learned Additional Government Pleader, it is unnecessary to issue notice to the third 2/4
respondent in this Writ Petition. Instead, this Writ Petition is disposed of, without making any observations on the merits, by directing the first respondent to conduct an inquiry, provide a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the third respondent and, thereafter, issue a speaking order within two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
