ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 to 3 to issue fresh mark statements, namely SSLC, HSC, and Degree Certificates by altering the petitioner's date of birth as 03.10.1999 instead of 03.07.1999, based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2025, within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is a clear case of manipulation of official records. The birth certificate produced by the petitioner shows that the name was inserted at a later point in time. This is evident from the fact that the birth certificate issued on 22.12.2003 contains the petitioner's name, whereas the 2/4

petitioner's copy of the birth certificate issued on 12.09.2025 does not contain the name of the child. This inconsistency clearly indicates that the petitioner has manipulated the records.
