... RespondentS Prayer :- To issue a WRIT OF CERTIORARI, calling for the records pertaining to the Impugned Order passed by the 2nd Respondent herein in Ref. No.204518/AP2(1)/2009, dated 03-07-2010 and quash the same as illegal.
ORDER:- This wRIT Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and the order passed in this writ petition and upon hearing the arguments of Ms. J.BALAMEENAKSHI, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Thiru M.JEYAKUMAR, ADDITIONAL GOVERNMENT PLEADER, for the respondent(s), this Court made the following order: With reference to the orders passed by this Court in W.P. (MD) No.13125 of 2011, dated 13.06.2019 and W.P.(MD) No.14964 of 2014, dated 02.07.2019, the learned Additional Government Pleader made a submission that the Director General of Police has issued Circular Memorandums implementing the orders passed by this Court.
2. This Court has taken a judicial note of the fact, that the order passed on 02.07.2019 in W.P.(MD) No.14964 of 2014 is implemented by the Director General of Police, on 12.07.2019 vide Circular Memorandum in Rc.No.185459/GB V(1)/2019 and the order passed on 13.06.2019 in W.P.(MD) No.13125 of 2011, is implemented by the Director General of Police, on 18.07.2019 vide Rc.No.280790/Con.V(2)/2019.
3. This Court thought fit that an appreciation is to be placed on record in view of the fact that, the Director General of Police has swiftly implemented the orders passed by this Court considering the importance of the directions issued in the above two cases in the interest of larger public. The way in which the orders of the High Court are implemented deserves appreciation from this Court.
4. In view of the prompt and swift action initiated by the Director General of Police, and the implementation of the orders of this Court are to be recognized. Thus, this Court is inclined to place on record the appreciation in favour of Thiru.J.K.Tripathy, Director General of Police / Head of the Police Force, Tamil Nadu, Chennai and the Principal Secretary to Government, Home (Police) Department, is directed to enter this order of appreciation granted by this Court in the service records of Thiru.J.K.Tripathy, Director General of Police.
