After submitting a representation dated 24.03.2025 to the District Revenue Officer complaining of a UDR error in issuing patta in the name of one Muthunaickar, the petitioner seeks the early disposal of such representation.
2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. He points out that the Revenue Divisional Officer has called upon the Tahsildar to provide a report in relation to the petitioner's representation. He submits that a speaking order would be issued by the second respondent within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. From the affidavit in support of this Writ Petition, it appears that the patta was issued in the name of one Muthunaickar. Therefore, before 2/4
taking a decision, it is necessary that the pattadar be heard.
4. Subject to the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the pattadar.
