PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 27.09.2025 and to survey the land and fix the boundaries the land comprised in Survey Nos.39/5B, 50/8 in Patta Nos.1126, 273 in situated at Ariyavoor Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District within the time stipulated by this court.

ORDER

By relying on patta No.1126 in the name of the petitioner and the Joint patta No.273 in the names of 7 persons in respect of land in S.No.39/5B of an extent of 32 ares, the petitioner had applied online for survey of the land on 27.09.2025. This writ petition relates thereto.

2. On instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner confirms that there is no rival title claim. He also states that the application has not been acted upon till date inspite of remitting requisite fees.

3. Learned Special Advocate accepts notice for both the respondents. He submits that the survey is scheduled on 14.11.2025. He has placed on record the relevant survey notice.

4. In view of the issuance of survey notice, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to take further action pursuant to such notice 2/4

after issuing notice to owners of relevant adjacent lands and the joint pattadhars in respect of land in S.No.50/8. The entire exercise shall be concluded within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after considering objections, if any, from the above persons.
