PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 27.09.2025 and to survey the land and fix the boundaries the land comprised in Survey No.50/7A, 50/9 in Patta No.2657, 1259 in situated at Ariyavoor Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

By relying on patta Nos.2657 and 1259 in respect of lands in S.No. 50/7A, 59/9, the petitioner had applied for survey on 27.09.2025. The present writ petition relates thereto.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner confirms that there is no rival title claim. He also states that the respondents have not taken steps to act on the application inspite of the petitioner remitting the requisite fees.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. He has placed on record the survey notice, scheduling the survey on 18.11.2025.

4.In view of the issuance of the survey notice, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to proceed with such survey after issuing notice to owners of relevant adjacent lands and considering objections, if any, from them. The entire process shall be concluded within three months from the date of receipt for copy of this order. No costs. 24.10.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR 2/4
