Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the Syndicate Resolution of the second respondent University in Additional Agenda Item No.1 passed in the Syndicate Meeting approving the selection of the third respondent as Registrar of the second respondent University dated 25.08.2009 and quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to appoint the petitioner as the Registrar of the second respondent University.

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to quash the decision of the second respondent University in respect of the appointment of Registrar in the University.

2. The respective learned counsels appearing in this writ petition made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, a Registrar was appointed on regular basis and therefore, the cause arose in this writ petition become infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
