The above petitions have been filed (i) to condone the delay of 158 days in filing the petition for setting aside the abatement caused due to the death of the second respondent (ii) to set aside the abatement caused due to the death of the second respondent and (iii) to bring on record the proposed respondents 4 to 12 as legal representatives of the deceased second respondent and rank them as respondents 4 to 12 in C.M.P.(MD)No.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the seventh respondent.
