Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was arrested this morning, i.e., on 12.01.2026, and he is presently in judicial custody. Hence, the present Criminal miscellaneous Petition has become infructuous.

2. Mr. M.Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent, has also acceded to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. In view there of, the present Criminal Miscellaneous petition has become infructuous and it is liable to be dismissed as infructuous. Accordingly, the Criminal Miscellaneous petition is dismissed as infructuous.
