ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief : "To call for the records relating to online impugned rejection of the 1st respondent dated Nil in Application No.TN6620250916191 dated 16.09.2025 for granting temporary cracker license for the petitioner's shop in Door No.1/1115, Dindigul Main Road, Vaiyampatti, Trichy District, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to issue temporary cracker license for the petitioner's shop in Door No. 1/1115, Dindigul Main Road, Vaiyampatti, Trichy District, within time frame."

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions would submit that the reason for rejection is that the cracker shop is being run in a thatched roof. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it is a tin sheeted shop.

3. The temporary license shall be issued, if this statement of the petitioner is true. That apart, the petitioner shall give an undertaking that he will adhere to the safety norms and shall bear all responsibilities for any loss which is to be caused on account of his negligence. The issuance of the temporary license now shall not be taken as an advantage for the license for the next year.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 17.10.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes gbg
