By relying on a Will dated 23.06.2007 and an order dated 09.06.2001 granting probate in favour of the petitioner, the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 20.08.2025 for deletion of the names of Murugan, Yesuvadiyan Nadar and Karuvelamuthu Nadar from the patta in relation to survey Nos.1123/1, 1123/2 and 221/5. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2. He submits that the Revenue Divisional Officer would consider the petitioner's request and pass orders on merits after issuing notice to the joint pattadars, Murugan, Yesuvadian and Karuvelamuthu.

3. In view of the above submissions of learned Government Advocate, it is unnecessary to issue notice to the third respondent in this Writ Petition. Instead, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for rectification of patta after providing a reasonable opportunity to the 2/4

petitioner, the third respondent, yesuvadian and Karuvelamuthu. A speaking order shall be issued within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
