2. The matter pertains to cheque signing power of the President and the Vice-President of the village panchayat and whether the District Collector can take away such power in exercise of power conferred under Section 203 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellant would submit that the term of office for the respondent is over and hence, nothing survives for adjudication as-on-date.
