An inquiry notice dated 14.10.2025 has been challenged in this Writ Petition primarily on the ground that the Tahsildar does not have the power to review the earlier order granting patta in favour of the petitioner.
2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2. He submits that orders on the request for cancellation of the petitioner's patta would be issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer after considering the objections of the petitioner.
3. Therefore, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer to consider the petitioner's objections before taking a decision on the third respondent's request for cancellation of the petitioner's patta. A speaking order shall be issued 2/4
