The petitioner has sought for a direction to the second respondent and his police personnel not to harass the petitioner and his family. 1/4

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, would submit that the petitioner or his family members have never been harassed. The petitioner is a history sheeter and he is having 14 previous cases. Therefore, the respondents are entitled to keep him under surveillance.

3.This Court is of the view that if the presence of the petitioner is required for the purpose of any enquiry, the respondents may issue summons and on such summons, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent Police.

4.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
