(Order of the Court was made by C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.) This application has been filed to condone the delay of 387 days in filing the appeal against the award dated 13.06.2024 in LAOP.No.20 of 2021 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Sivagangai. 2.In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it had been stated that during the pendency of the Claim Petition, the appellants suffered from Parkinson disease and was taking continuous treatment and his movement was restricted and he could not contact the counsel. Thereafter, with the help of a family friend, steps have been taken to prefer the appeal.

3. In view of the fact that the appellant is the claimant and he proposed to challenge the award passed in a claim petition, the delay

stands condoned. The Registry is directed to number the appeal if it is otherwise in order. After numbering the appeal, it may be posted along with AS(MD)No.371 of 2024 in normal course.
