Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the Respondents to promote the Petitioner as Inspector of Police without reference to the pendency to criminal case in S.C.No.39 of 2010, on the file of the II Additional District Judge, Tirunelveli on the basis of his representation dated 06-08-2012.
