By relying on the judgment and decree in A.S.No.11 of 2012, which was affirmed by dismissing the second appeal filed by the counterparty, the petitioner had applied for patta upon the death of his father. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of on merits by the first respondent within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Therefore, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for patta within three (3) months 2/4

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing a reasonable opportunity to all persons interested in the relevant property. No costs.
