PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to direct the respondents herein to de-freeze the petitioner's bank account bearing No.50200103869524 maintained with the 3rd respondent herein, which had been frozen pursuant to the directions of the 2nd respondent. 1/4

ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the respondents to de-freeze the petitioner's Bank account bearing No. 50200103869524, maintained with the third respondent which has been frozen pursuant to the directions of the second respondent.

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the disputed amount is a sum of Rs. 2,47,300/- which has already been debited from his bank account. However, the petitioner is not being permitted to operate the bank account. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the third respondent, on instructions, submits that the petitioner would be permitted to operate the bank account.

4. Recording the said submission, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to defreeze the bank account and permit the petitioner to operate the bank account.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed to the extent as stated above.
