By relying on a relinquishment deed dated 30.09.2025 and patta No.1264, the petitioner had applied for a survey of the land in survey No. 45/4. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that patta No.527 was erroneously issued earlier in the names of Veilmuthu and Subramanian and that such error was subsequently rectified. He points out that patta No.1264 was issued in the name of the petitioner thereafter.
3. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2 and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) accepts notice for the third respondent.

4. The petitioner has placed on record both title and revenue records in his name. Therefore, a case is made out to consider the petitioner's application. While doing so, it is necessary to put Veilmuthu and Subramanian on notice and consider their objections.
5. Subject to the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first and second respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's request for a survey after issuing notice to Veilmuthu and Subramanian and considering objections, if any, from them. The entire process shall be concluded within three (3) months of the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
