ORDER

The petitioner seeks for early disposal of case in S.C.No.716 of 2024 on the file of the learned I Additional Sessions Judge, Madurai, within the time frame.

2.The petitioner is arrayed as A21 in S.C.No.716 of 2024, for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 341, 353, 355, 188 and 332 of IPC and under Section 3(1) of TNPDL Act, r/w 109 of IPC . 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent Police would submit that there are totally 23 accused in this case and that the case is now posted for framing of charges, on 10.11.2025.

4.Admittedly, the charges have not been framed by the trial Court so far. The Hon'ble Supreme Court has deprecated the practice of fixing time limit for conclusion of the trial. Henc,e this court is not inclined to fix any time frame for conclusion of the trial. 2/4

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed, with liberty to the petitioners to approach this Court later, if there is any undue delay in the conduct of the trial.
