PRAYER:Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondent to give necessary and adequate police protection for a reasonable period to the life and liberty of the petitioner to along with her husband.

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to give necessary and adequate police protection for a reasonable period to the life and liberty of the petitioner to along with her husband. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.Heard Mr.C.M.Arumugam, learned counsel for the petitioner

and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the petitioner is living with her husband peacefully and happily and on 19.09.2017, she has given letter to the respondents seeking permission to withdraw her complaint. It is further stated in the letter that she does not ask for any protection at present. The learned Special Government Pleader has produced a copy of the letter given by the petitioner.

4.In view of the facts, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
