ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner in any suitable post on compassionate ground in the respondent Forest department. 2.V.Murugan, father of the petitioner who had been appointed as a Forest Watcher on 09.11.1983, promoted as Forest Guard, expired on 27.04.2002, while in service. Later on, on 30.05.2002, his wife submitted an application, seeking employment to her daughter Padmakala on compassionate ground. Thereafter, as the daughter got married, an application was made seeking appointment for the petitioner and lastly, the application submitted by the petitioner dated 11.01.2012 for the post of Office Assistant is pending before the first respondent. direction to the first respondent to consider the said representation, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents is agreeable to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.01.2012 and to pass orders. 4.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.01.2012 and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
