Prayer:Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents more particularly the 1st respondent to re-issue passport to the petitioner based on his application dated 07.07.2025 pending in File No.MD1075296174625 within a time frame.

O R D E R

The present writ petition had been filed seeking a mandamus as against the first respondent for re-issuance of passport based upon the petitioner's application dated 07.07.2025.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the second respondent brought to the notice of the Court that the petitioner is implicated in three cases which are pending in STC.Nos.297 of 2015 and 206 of 2025 and C.C.No.88 of 2025 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvadanai.

3.Considering the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the concerned trial Court seeking permission to go abroad. In case, if such an application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Based upon the orders to be passed by the trial Judge, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
