Ms No. 1242 dated 7/09/1981 and G.O. No.125 dated 05.02.1992 . JUDGMENT
[Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.M.SUNDRESH,J] This appeal is directed against the order of the learned Single Judge, who after holding that the appellants have no vested right to seek for renewal, was pleased to dismiss the writ petition.
2. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the appellants fairly submitted that the appellants have been dispossessed. However, it is submitted that the intention of the Government to construct a Truck Terminal is not in Public interest as some other place be utilised for the said purpose rather than the place which has been earmarked for manufacture of salt.
3. We are afraid that the said contention cannot be countenanced in the present writ appeal. If the appellants are of the view overwhelming public interest would be affected, if a
Truck Terminal is constructed, it is well open to them to come with a separate petition, if they so desire.
In the result, the writ appeal is dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
