Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to fill up the existing vacancy of Accounts Supervisor caused by the retirement of Tmt,A.Sivakami in Central Office, Theni by allotting and posting the petitioner as per her seniority as well as guideline dated 03.01.2002 giving preference to woman worker. ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents herein to fill up the existing vacancy of Accounts Supervisor caused by the retirement of Tmt,A.Sivakami in Central Office, Theni by allotting and posting the petitioner as per her seniority as well as guideline dated 03.01.2002 giving preference to woman worker.

2. Even though the petitioner has sought for a positive Mandamus, it is seen that the petitioner has made representations on 08.09.2025 & 06.10.2025 for the very same relief.

3. In view of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representations dated 08.09.2025 & 06.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
