O R D E R
By relying on a sale deed dated 07.07.2025 and patta No.10226 in respect to one are in survey No.602/18, the petitioner had applied online on 26.09.2025 for a survey. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.
2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2 and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) accepts notice for the third respondent. Learned Government Advocate submits that action would be initiated on the petitioner's request for a survey and the entire process would be completed within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to owners of relevant adjacent lands.
3. The petitioner has placed on record both title and revenue 2/5
records relating to the land in survey No.602/18, of an extent of one are. Therefore, a case is made out to consider his application. On instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner confirms that there is no rival title claim and that objections are being raised by owners of adjacent lands.

In these circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first and second respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's application for a survey by issuing notice to the petitioner and the owners of relevant adjacent lands. Objections, if any, from owners of adjacent lands shall be taken into account before a decision is taken. For the avoidance of doubt, it is clarified that if there is a credible title dispute, the survey should not be conducted, whereas boundary disputes may be decided by the official respondents. The entire process shall be concluded within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case revenue officials require the assistance of jurisdictional police, they may avail of such assistance. No costs. NCS : Yes/No 28.10.2025 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No apd 3/5
