PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the fourth respondent in his proceedings in No.Nil dated 07.10.2025 and quash the same as illegal, without jurisdiction and further direct the third respondent to consider the representation dated 13.10.2025 to issue patta within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.) This writ petition is premature, as the challenge is to a notice issued under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 ('Act').

2. The petitioner has also filed a reply to the impugned notice dated 07.10.2025, which Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader, who appears for the official respondents, confirms. In such 2/4

circumstances, there is no need to intervene, as the proceedings will be carried to their logical conclusion. Even if an adverse order is passed under Section 6 of the Act, the petitioner has an appellate remedy.

3. At this juncture, Mr.D.Muthupandi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner makes an endorsement to the effect that this writ petition is not pursued, recording which, this writ petition and connected miscellaneous petitions are dismissed as withdrawn directing the official respondents to complete the proceedings in accordance with law. No costs.
