The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to commence the investigation in Crime No.178 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police and file a final report within a time fixed by this Court. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that the respondent is conducting the investigation in an effective manner and they would file a final report within a period of two (2) months.
