ORDER

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 4 to measure the Petitioner's property in S.No.251/1 situated at S.Melapatti, Sandhaiyur, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District and to file a report as per the order of the third respondent, dated 14.1.2011 in Na.Ka.No.2946/2010/A6 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the submissions made by Mr.G.Mohankumar, learned counsel for the Petitioner, Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 2 and 4, Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned counsel for the third respondent and Mr.R.Meenakshisundaram, learned counsel for the fifth respondent and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.Mr.G.Mohankumar, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Petitioner would be satisfied if a specific direction is given to the respondents to measure the Petitioner's property in S.No.251/1 situated at S.Melapatti, Sandhaiyur, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1,2 and 4 would submit that the Block Development Officer, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District/third respondent herein, had already requested the second respondent to measure the property of the Petitioner and it will be done in a very short span of time. 5.In the light of above submission, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 4 to measure the property of the Petitioner and submit a report to the Block Development Officer, Peraiyur Taluk/third respondent herein, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
