ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the official respondents. 2.The petitioner is a resident of Pettai, Kadayanallur Taluk, Tenkasi District. He alleges that there are encroachments in S.No.212/B, 2/6
Kadayanallur, Tenkasi District. It is not in dispute that the said survey numbers has been classified as channel.
3.We direct the fourth respondent to conduct survey of the petition mentioned waterbody. Notices will be issued to all the interested persons. If the survey exercise reveals that there is encroachment, individual notices will be issued to all the encroachers and by adhering to due process of law, the encroachments shall be removed. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
