Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents No.1 and 2 to award adequate police protection in the light of the decree delivered by the learned District Munsif, Nanguneri, Tirunelveli District in O.S.No.158 of 2007 dated 11.07.2025.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection pursuant to the decree passed in favour of the petitioner in O.S.No.158 of 2007 dated 11.07.2025.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner was considered and the same was rejected since there are civil disputes between the parties.
3. It is the claim of the petitioner that there is a Civil Court decree in his favour. If the third respondent has violated the judgment and decree of the Civil Court, it is open to the petitioner to seek execution of the said judgment. The respondent Police has no jurisdiction to entertain such representations and they have rightly rejected the same.
4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
