ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents herein from in any manner disturbing the peaceful conduct of street vending business for selling agricultural products like cucumber, jamun fruits and ground nuts at inside the New bus stand at Musiri Municipality, Trichy District by consider petitioner representation dated 28.07.2025.

2. Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The facts as set out in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition reads as follows:- 2/6

The petitioner would submit that he is a street vendor who is selling agricultural products like cucumber, jamun fruits and ground nuts to the downtrodden people for the past 30 years. He would submit that he has borrowed a loan from the private financiers for running his business at the New bus stand at Musiri, Trichy District. While so, the 2nd respondent and his office bearers prevented him from doing his business under the guise of political influence. Therefore, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent authorities to permit him to run his business, however, the same has not been considered to date. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.07.2025 will be considered and final orders will be passed within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
